Internet Basics

This workshop is for those who are new to the internet or want to build more confidence finding information online and navigating websites. Attendees will learn about web browsers and search engines, build skills to navigate the internet, and discover tips and tricks for basic and advanced searching online.

Email Basics

This class will cover tips and tricks for using a Gmail email account, including how to send, receive, and reply to an email; recognize and deal with spam; organize and delete emails; and search for messages. Note: If you want to sign up for a new email account or get help resetting your password for a current account, please make a 1-on-1 appointment with a staff member before the date of the class (call 309-274-2719).

Cybersecurity Basics

This workshop is for those who are interested in safety online and want to protect themselves from fraudsters and scams. It will build participants’ confidence when they are visiting websites, creating passwords, and responding to email. Register for your preferred date/time:
