The Chillicothe Public Library is now collecting Canned and other non-perishable food items to benifit local food pantries. We have a collection receptical in the front lobby and donations can be dropped off during regular library hours.

    Pastor Terry Jones, who said he would burn Qurans on 9/11's anniversary, has cancelled that. He said the Muslim cleric behind the planned Islamic Center near Ground Zero had agreed to build elsewhere. But sources close to that imam denied that.
