Libraries exist to serve their communities. And here at the Chillicothe Public Library we are no different. We are here to serve and enrich the community of Chillicothe with Resources, Technology and Knowledge.
As many people may know, regular library services are provided by property taxes within the library district and Illinois State taxes. But that funding only supports Regular library services.
All of the wonderful programs and extra services available to our patrons and their families are provided solely by generous donations made by area businesses, organizations and individuals.

If you have attended a program or event at the Library, chances are, it was funded through donations from our Patrons and supporters.
