NOTICE: Tax Forms
Due to costs, the Chillicothe Public Library is unable to provide Tax forms to the public. However, all Federal and Illinois State Tax forms are available on internet at the IRS website and Illinois State website.
These sites may be accessed from our Public Computers and Tax forms printed off.
You must have an active Library Card in good standing to access Public Computers.
You must have that card with you at the time you wish to access them.
Regular printing rules and costs apply (4 pages free, .25 cents per page after).
Chillicothe Public Library staff are not licensed tax representatives and cannot give help or advice on printing tax forms (which form is needed, etc).

Chillicothe Public Library is part of the Alliance System / Resource Sharing Alliance - a network of 170 libraries within Central illinois sharing their collections for maximum patron service.
Through our Library's website, you can access the online catalogs of all participating libraries and place holds on items that are NOT available at the Chillicothe location.
Please keep in mind the following when placing holds:
-Regular Library Items can only be Renewed Twice (2 times). And DVDs and Videos can only be Renewed Once (1 time). After that, Items must be brought in to the Library for future renewals.
-To Log in, look for the to fields in the very top of the right corner of the page. There will be a place to type in your Library Card Number and below it a place to type your Password.
-When logging in, MOST patrons have the preset Password: CHANGEME

-When placing a hold, you MUST select a library at which you'd like to pick up your hold, but you CANNOT select from which library your hold is being shipped. The system randomly selects from all 170 RSA locations.
-Holds usually arrive for pick-up within Two Weeks of being placed - often sooner, depending upon which library is sending the item, their hours, delivery schedule, staffing, etc. Please be patient, and call our Inter-Library Loan Dept. if an item is taking an extremely long time to arrive.
-You will be notified when your item arrives. After several days, items not picked up are automatically routed back to the lending library.
-Items not available within the RSA, may be found outside the area - even in other states. Our Inter-Library Loan Dept. is glad to search and find it for you. Just ask!
