"I wish to thank you for your generous support. Many afghans have been donated to the pediatric department of Peoria hospital. There will be another large donation soon of afghans and chemo caps. I have also made several donations to the Helping Hands Resale Shoppe.

Please take a moment to see the pictures of the many donated items posted on the container in the library foyer. I hope you will continue providing any yarn you no longer need." -Jody Turner

A yarn donation container has been placed in the library foyer. We are accepting any yarn skeins, scraps or patterns that you no longer need. Any unused yarn will be given to the Helping Hands Resale Shoppe to further benefit local charities.

Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Now you can! With the Alliance Digital Media Library brought to you by the Chillicothe Public Library and Alliance Library System!

With the increase in usage of mobile devices and mp3 players, the Chillicothe Public Library, along with several other area Libraries, have made it a priority to provide materials in formats meeting the busy lifestyles of their patrons.

With the Alliance Digital Media Library patrons can browse and download titles 24 hours per day, every day of the week, from any personal computer with an Internet connection. They can take digital titles in the car, on the bus, in a waiting room, anywhere!

All you need to do to Log In is,

1. Follow the link above the Alliance Digital Media Library.

2. Click 'Log In' on the top menu bar.

3. Enter your Library Card Number (the number starting with D just below the barcode). And your special PIN number (The password you would normally use to sign on to your online Library account to renew and request books).

And that's it! You can download and read eBooks in PDF and other formats, download them to your digital reader or smart phone, or download the audio book version in WAV or MP3 formats and listen on your iPod or mp3 player!
